President of Banloch, LLC

IMG_7460_2-bio.pngGenevieve is president of Banloch, LLC, a Houston-based management consulting firm specializing in business process redevelopment and technology innovation within the healthcare, government and retail industries. She began her 20+ year career within the professional services industry after graduating with a bachelor's degree in economics from Vanderbilt University.

Genevieve's interest in food and its production started as a child helping out at her great uncle's produce farm near her hometown in Ohio. Genevieve enjoyed waking up before the sun to help prepare and deliver fresh produce to local area farmer's markets. This experience left a lasting appreciation of the dedication and pride demonstrated by local farmers to produce and deliver high quality food to their neighbors and beyond.

Later in life, food, nutrition and overall health became essential to Genevieve as a Division One Collegiate Athlete. Strenuous physical demands and travel schedules forced Genevieve to think about food preparation, nutritional value and meal accessibility. Her exposure to these topics broadened while volunteering at Project Open Hand. On a weekly basis Genevieve and her fellow volunteers prepared and packaged 250 meals for delivery to individuals in critical need of good nutrition struggling to live with HIV/AIDS.

Today, Genevieve maintains her love and appreciation of quality food and the road it travels from farm-to-table. She is an eager supporter of Houston's booming culinary culture and is encouraged by the growth in establishments and customers seeking a better, more-connected, food experience.
