Helen Bow joined Wells Fargo as a Regional Banking communicator in 2006, responsible for internal and external communications--with a primary focus on media relations. In 2016, she joined Wells Fargo Advisors in the same capacity, yet with a national scope. She is based in Houston.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Helen was a corporate communications manager at Shell Lubricants. There, she managed internal and external communications, media relations as well as special events for the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, she served five years as a media relations representative at Shell Oil Company--Corporate Affairs where she was responsible for managing media relations for all of Shell's lines of businesses in the U.S. She also spent three years as a contributing writer and photographer to the Houston Chronicle's This Week section.

Earlier in her career, Helen held marketing and public relations positions in the healthcare and energy industries. She earned a bachelor's degree in English and mass communications from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, LA. She is also accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.

Helen serves on the board of directors of Recipe for Success Foundation and the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, where she will again serve as co-chair of its Reading between the Wines event for the third year in a row.

Active in the community, she is also a member of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo's wine sales and events committee and also serves on the PR/media relations committee for Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Excellence for Nonprofits in 2017.

She lives in Missouri City with her sons Greyson and Miles.
