Brian Evans, The Tasting Room
Executive Chef Brian Evans always loved to cook from an early age. Evans was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and was immersed in Southern food culture during his childhood.
After high school, he completed a 6-year tour with the U.S. Marines and then decided to journey to culinary school at Culinary Apprenticeship Program at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. Evans held multiple positions in the kitchen to hone his culinary skills including Sous Chef at Coast Brewing Co. in the Beau Rivage Casino, Chef and Owner of Il Pomodoro Ristorante in Diamondhead, Mississippi, and Lead Cook at The Grill Room at The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans.
Following his successful stints at various restaurants throughout the south, Evans joined The Tasting Room at Kings Harbor team in March 2011 and managed the team as Executive Chef.
In December 2013, Evans moved to The Tasting Room at CITYCENTRE, where he continues to command the kitchen as Executive Chef. He enjoys seasonal cooking and working with new ingredients as well as educating his team members on new techniques and skills. In his spare time, Evans enjoys spending time with his two daughters, cooking and reading.
