Chris Garcia, Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club
A native Houstonian, and resident of New Orleans for 12 wonderful years, Chef Chris Garcia has been Executive Chef for The Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club since early 2009. Chef Garcia's 19 year cooking career started at Red Fish Grille under Chef Polo and ended at the Ritz Carlton under Chef Matthew Murphy. During this time, Chris had enough time to attain a B.A. in Strategic Business Management from Loyola N.O and time to study Engineering and Culinary Arts at Delgado University.
Whether learning North Indian Cuisine with Chef Kiran Verma or Southern Italian with Vincent Mandola, Chef Garcia tries to absorb any and every cuisine he can get his hands into. Recipe for Success has been an important learning tool for the children and Chef Chris since he began in 2005. He is proud to be a part of the RFS team that has branched out so far from it's beginnings.
Chef Garcia is currently working on a side project developing an exciting new food truck concept for Houston.
