Frank C. Steininger

Frank is a partner in the Assurance practice in the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Houston office--his clients include Marathon Oil Company and Shell Oil Company. He has directed a wide variety of audit engagements of public and private companies in the petroleum, chemical and mining industries and has significant SEC reporting experience. Frank has also worked abroad, including a two-year tour in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a member of the Texas and Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He graduated from the University of Akron with a BS in Accounting and currently lives in Houston with his wife Karen, and their sons Sean and Matthew.
Frank is the immediate past Chairman of the Board for Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, Inc. In 2007, the JA Worldwide Board presented him with the Gold Leadership Award at the U.S. Business Hall of Fame Chairman's Luncheon, honoring his many contributions toward impacting the world's youth and our communities.
In addition to giving of his own time, Frank has encouraged colleagues at PricewaterhouseCoopers to volunteer with Recipe for Success. Several times a year the company participates in all-day project for RfS. In fact, the PriceWaterhouseCoopers volunteers built Recipe for Success' first Recipe Garden in 2007--1/4 acre of 27 raised beds at MacGregor Elementary. In 2009 his team painted extensive interior and exterior murals at MacGregor and Henderson.
Frank and his wife Karen have been named chairs of the 2010 Blue Plate Special Café Lunch and Harvest Market.
