Molly Hipp Hubbard
Director of Special Projects for Rice University


MollyHubbard.jpgCorpus Christi native, Molly is an advancement and development executive who has worked for several non-profit and educational institutions dealing with the arts, the environment and public policy, including her recent post as Director of Development for The Baker Institute.  Currently, she serves as Director of Special Projects for Rice University where she provides strategic counsel to deans and department chairs on projects in the arts and humanities. In 2007, Governor Rick Perry appointed her to a six-year term on the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Molly received a B.A. in Humanities summa cum laude from the University of Texas where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  She is married to native Houstonian, Ford Hubbard who is VP of Marketing for HOK. A health and exercise fanatic, she cooks in her spare time, specializing in salads and dressing--Molly claims to make the best balsamic dressing anyone has ever tasted and a killer salmon frittata.

Molly is a board member of The Houston Seminar and the Texas Butterfly Project. Both of the Hubbards are active in The Alley Theatre, the Houston Audubon Society and Legacy Land Trust
