Rick Terry
Executive VP of Compass Wealth Management
Rick has more than twenty-five years of experience in the financial services and private wealth industry. He has worked with Compass Bank since 2003, where he manages all aspects of the group's activities in Houston, including Trust; Private Banking; Financial Planning; Investment Management and charitable and family office services. Rick received his B.B.A. from Lamar University and his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
On the volunteer side of life, Rick is especially interested in supporting environmental, educational and cultural organizations. In addition to working with Recipe for Success, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Nature Conservancy and on the Board for the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show. He is on the Endowment board for the Houston Grand Opera and DaCamera.
Prior to moving to Houston, Rick served on the Advisory Board of the University of Texas at Austin School of Accounting. He was also the Chair of Corporate Fundraising at the Dallas Opera Board and served on the Investment Committee for the Greater Dallas Metropolitan Area YMCA.
