Virginia McMullen

Virginia is a Houston native raised in the Clear Lake Area. After graduating the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Biological Sciences, she continued her medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at MD Anderson in the field of a Medical Technology. After working in Administration and Research at Texas Children's Hospital for two years, Virginia decided to shift careers slightly and become a perfusionist working in cardiac surgery. After training at Texas Heart Institute she has been a perfusionist in the Texas Medical Center and Houston area now for over 6 years.

Virginia is married to William, a Clear Lake native. They have young twin girls, Elizabeth and Vivienne and are expecting their third child. They enjoy traveling as a family as well as exploring Houston. As a mom, Virginia really strives to teach her children about good nutrition and is very passionate about using giving back to the community. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Good Samaritan Foundation here in Houston.
