Gary Mularski, Dining Chez Vous (Dining at Your Place)
Gary graduated with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1979.
He had a 29-year career in sales and management with large multinational corporations. His corporate career required extensive travel, dining out, and client entertainment. It was during a 5-year assignment in Brussels, Belgium that Gary developed a passion for good food and cooking.
With Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooing" in hand, he began cooking for family and friends. The Food Network provided constant inspiration. Two "Boot Camp" classes at the Culinary Institute of America in 2007 and 2008 began his culinary education.
Gary decide to follow his passion for food. He walked away from a very good position in 2008 to take early retirement. He enrolled in the Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNĂ´tre in Houston to formalize his training with traditional French culinary and pastry techniques. Gary graduated with Gold Medal Honors and a Diploma as Sous Chef in Culinary Arts, Specialty in Cuisine in February 2009.
Gary opened his own business - Dining Chez Vous (Dining at Your Place) personal chef service - in September 2008. His business consists of preparing flavorful, healthy meals for busy families, catering for small parties, and conducting cooking demonstrations.
He is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and has been awarded Professional Personal Chef and Certified Culinary Inspirations Instructor certificates from the Culinary Business Academy in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Gary enjoys teaching kids about cooking at MacGregor Elementary School to support Recipe for Success.
