Steve Haug, Del Frisco's
Chef Steve Haug is currently the Executive Chef at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in Houston.
Prior to this position, Chef Haug worked under the supervision of Del Frisco's Corporate Executive Chef Thomas Dritsas and award-winning Executive Chef David Holben of the Del Frisco's Dallas location. Haug began as a line cook in September 1997, but quickly became the Executive Sous Chef. In 2007, Chef Haug was then offered the Executive Chef position at the newly established Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in Houston.
Chef Haug received top awards for his classic Caesar salad topped with a truffled rock lobster crostini and heirloom tomatoes at the 15th Caesar Salad Competition in Dallas.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Chef Haug grew up cooking and always knew he wanted to be a chef. He worked in several seafood and steakhouses in the Florida panhandle, and later found his true calling in Texas.
