Clarissa Harris, Seed-to-Plate Nutrition Education™ Garden Teacher, Gross Elementary
Clarissa Harris strives to live a positive and productive life, a goal that has inspired her to pursue a career in the field of health education. Harris loves working with children and is dedicated to helping and supporting students lead healthy and active lifestyles. Harris first interned for RfS while an undergraduate student at Texas Southern University and joined the staff as a teacher a year later.
Now she is pursuing her masters in Public Health and is the Recipe Garden instructor at Gross Elementary, where she enjoys introducing her students to the beginning of all food cycles and helping young people make wise food choices. Harris hopes to someday combine her degrees and teaching experience to making a bigger impact on the way young students understand their food.
