Damian Wheatfall
Damian started cooking at an early age, under the guidance of his family. He enjoyed being in the kitchen and was encouraged by how much everyone enjoyed the food he prepared. At 16, Damien put his culinary interest to professional use, working as a cook at a local McDonald's. He was quickly promoted after making improvements to food presentation.
In 2006, Damien decided to pursue his culinary passion fulltime. He enrolled at the Art Institute and began working to fulfill the dream of owning his own restaurant. After graduating from culinary school, Damien became an intern with Recipe for Success in order to improve his gardening skills and learn healthy cooking techniques. He's discovered more than he expected: "I love working with kindergarteners," Damien says.
